We we went over Todd’s parents house this evening to see them and I was playing with the nephew. He likes to play hide and go seek some times. His idea of hiding, is going to the same spot every time while you pretend to hunt around looking for him. His idea of seeking is not that detailed either, he will just take a cursory glance in the room and decide you are not there and subsequently enlist the help of others to find you.  :)

So today we started packing up our desks to move the contents downstairs to our new home. This home is less than ideal but it is what it is. Anyway. I go to start taking some files out of my filing cabinet and i get a monster paper cut from a file folder in the drawer. Then a little later on the same finger is stabbed with the pins on one of those cubicle clips that attach to the fabric of the walls. Same finger. Not sure how that happened but I am waiting now for the third injury to happen to that finger.

I start singing a a song and Michele says. “Disturbia!” To which I respond “I wasn’t listening to your music, I was singing the song in my head.” She said back, “I’m surprised you could hear it over all the voices.”

I nearly pissed my pants.

Yesterday while outside at work we saw a huge squash growing on top of the bushes near the parking lot. I didn’t have my camera nor the idea to take a picture until it was too late. Also in the vicinity is a tomato plant.

I brought my small camera this morning to take a picture of it but it was picked already. Either that or it fell. The squash was of the hubbard variety and it was about a foot long and about 8 to 10 inches in diameter. It was being held up by caution tape and the plant was secured to the yew it was living on by string. The top of that shrub seemed to be some good vegetable growing real estate.
